There's the normal too-much-to-tell in these here parts, but we will try to distill just a bit of what is going on in the near future so you can keep the FOMO at bay. But first to the beers!

Our taps are covering an amazing array of beer styles and flavors and are tasting better than ever. A brief recap may be in order. Currently we are serving:

· Our crisp and clean Island Blonde Kolsch Style Ale.

· The Paradise Pale Ale in all its American Pale Ale deliciousness.

·The one, the only, and the original Avocado Honey Ale.

·The Tropical Lager, a staple on these sunny days.

·The Hopliner IPA, featuring deep citrus flavors for a solid choice.

· The ever so refreshing HoneyWheat Ale

· The stalwart and steadfast hoppiness that is our Island IPA.

· Starry Night Stout, in all its deep roasted glory,

·Our Instigator Weizenbock

· The King Tide Double IPA

·The liquid gem that is our Russiand Imperial Stout the RISistance.

We've got some barrel-aged releases in the wings too.

Thirsty yet? Us too. Fresh is best!

Events

Naturally, we have some events that pair well with any of the above beers.

First up, the family fun that is our Pumpkin Carving Contest. Oct. 30 it's BYOP for a night of pumpkin slicing, dicing, and prizes, 5:30-7:30. We are continually amazed with the creativity that goes into sculpting these gourds, and this year will be no exception.

We will host our first ever Halloween costume contest. Wednesday Oct. 31, 8:00. Our esteemed panel of judges will crown a winner-takes-all victor. In addition to bragging rights, he or she will be taking home a new Island Nation membership (or Island Nation renewal). That would be our frequent flier program that enables one to enjoy the big beer for the little beer price for one year! Get those costumes together!

The final pieces are falling into place on our first ever Tiki Party and Board Swap. Mark your calendar for Saturday Nov. 3rd. We'll host a board swap in the parking lot. Winter is coming and we know you've got a few boards (surf, skate, snow...kids wetsuits anyone?) that are looking for a new home, and there's a good chance you might go home with something magic too. 11-3 pm. Then we'll get moving and grooving with Aloha master Karlin Ladera and his tribe, 5-8 pm. We'll have deals on the above Tiki mugs which are going to look great in your life and there will be food and a Hawaiian shirt contest too. Stay tuned!

·Friday, Oct. 26, it's The Youngsters, 6-9 pm..

·Saturday, Oct. 27, the 805 AllStarz, 6-9 pm.

· Sunday from 3-6 pm and we'll have yet another installation of our story telling series Stories on Tap, 7:00. Things will be getting scary!

·Saturday, Nov. 3, Karlin Ladera plays the Tiki Party 5-8 pm.

·Saturday, Oct. 10, The Rent Party Blues bands puts on their usual blues clinic, 6-9 pm.

If you want to look waaay out, Nov. 18 we'll be taking to the streets in the 5th Annua Tri brewery Volksmarch! Watch this space.

Private Party Room

Finally, we don't want to be the ones to point out that we are rapidly approaching a festive part of the year, but that is indeed the case. Our private party rental room has been getting a lot of love from local business and organizations looking for off site team bonding. If you think there is the slightest possibility of needing our room for your holiday schenanigans, we need to hear from you pronto, because the schedule is filling up!
